@ZimaSpartan I used the holes from factory and no sika flex glue with a roof tent and there was never any worry it was comming off. What I would say though is when I did remove mine there was rub in the channels. So would recomend a bit of paint protection film on each side before gluing the...
Sorry should have answered those at the time. My parts list was for a t6. To the best of my knowledge they didn't change the shape of the roof on the 6.1 so they should fit. But you are best to check. And I used tiger seal body adhesive. But sika flex do various coach building adhesives. So any...
I can only speak for what I did but I never drilled additional holes and had a roof tent on the van without issue. I did have all the fixings to do the job but decided not to use them. I'm not recommending this and would suggest anyone to do the full fix. Make sure and seal those screws too..
Does anyone know if vw did shorter than swb floor rails. If so do they have part numbers for the complete rail System? Lookibg to use them in a crafter conversion and dont want the length on the swb. But if anyone has some for sale i may purchase and cut them down to size.
Hey Gareth, so the parts are dealer only but you can get aftermarket easily enough. if your having problems getting a cylindrical secondary cylinder and release bearing I have one sitting here that is the same as the one I put into my van, rather than send back for a refund I can send onto you...

Anyone able to help , can get the parts for full clutch other than the thrust bearing as there is a 10 day lead time. And as it happens I have someone wanting to buy the van next week and have someone to fix it this weekend. Need a thrust bearing fast?
So will update later but I have a garage who said they have done a clutch on vw before and you CAN get non dealer parts. If I van find out what they are will post hear. Doefo the clutch as plant the foot in 5th and she spins up the revs. Pain in the ass. Quote so far 1600 plus VAT... 565 for...
