I have looked under the steering column to find my build label but it’s not there. Since I only have an electronic service book I don’t know where else to turn to. Any ideas how I can get it?

I've been asked to supply the actual build date of my 2019 T6 Transporter...where do I find this ? It's not on the log book as that's the registration date. I've looked at the large sticker underneath the drivers side steering wheel but it's all in code... Can anyone help ? Thanks

Just had a status 20 confirmed build date for my van,dilemma is now whether to keep it or sell it,as the shines been taken off a bit,due to the lengthy lead time of 2.5 years... Its a big spec t32 kombi in Ascot grey,204 dsg etc.

Yeah, that date means nothing TBH. As your van progresses through VW's planning, build and delivery process, they update the build status. From memory, status 10 means "Provisional build date assigned", but such dates are subject to significant movement - usually backwards, but not always...
