I’ve had my 2018 Highline TSI from new and it has never had an engine cover. However, it has just occurred to me that my son has recently bought himself a 2017 Golf GTI - so I should try his engine cover and see if it fits my van?

Its the highline tsi so deffo factory, and with a torch n mirror you can see the motors!

Im assuming it was a 150 as standard ? The thing with the TSI is they map really well from standard and make a significant power gain on stage 1 so reverting will remove loads of power Im sure a standard 150 goes up to around 250-300 range with just the stage 1 map !

Thanks for all the feedback, been keeping an eye out for a TSI - Yes they are rare..! did see a nice full camper conversion but concerned with the TSI 28 fuel economy and also would it have the power to pull a fully laden camper conv..? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated…

Hi all, Got myself a mint TSI and want it Dyno tuning I live I Leeds dose anyone know anyone that specialises in these because it all seems to be TDI tuning and recommends for a carbon steering wheel that will work with my DSG box. Thanks Rick
