Hi all,
Got myself a mint TSI and want it Dyno tuning I live I Leeds dose anyone know anyone that specialises in these because it all seems to be TDI tuning and recommends for a carbon steering wheel that will work with my DSG box.
Thanks
Rick

Just been on there website and there is very little but will ring them tomorrow, even decat down pipe is not an off the shelf item .

A1 tuning at Hull. They give you the choice between there's or a racingline remap. With the later it's free remap updates for life of the ownership. I've got them to do my octavia tsi and it produced 330bhp and 550nm of tourqe. Not bad from 220bhp. I did have racingline induction kit, elbow and muffler delete on at the time of remap. Buggered the clutch on the way home so replaced with a satch clutch. Been a joy to drive and no issues. Yours is more or less the same engine so should see something similar power wise.

Welcome to the TSI club!
I would steer clear of a Pendle map. Several of us have had hesitation problems following a Pendle tune, and the Jury is still out. In fact, whichever you go with, make sure you get a money back, map removed if not satisfied agreement, and drive it in all sorts of ways afterwards to make sure it fulfils your expectations. The power can be so addictive that you might not notice that it doesn’t drive so well on a medium throttle until it is too late.

@Dav-Tec is the place to go if you want a brilliant remap plus Chris can also sort out a carbon steering wheel for you.

Sure we can sort him out no problem done several TSIs

Thanks Gav, best to go to the right people

Thanks Shawn, have you or anyone had work done with A1 Remapping Hull?. And would it not be best just to go to someone that specialises in GTI tuning with a rolling road so all flat spots can be sorted on dyno.

You'll never get 330bhp out of the T6 TSI there's a few different components that limit it

Speak to @Dav-Tec
I've got a TSI with DSG box. Previously had a Pendle map and TVS DSG map until Chris and his very good associate remapped both for me. I'm not here to slate Pendle by any means, my van had that map for a few years and to be fair I was quite happy with it, even though I had the hesitation problem that seems to be common with TSI's. Chris's map is far smoother and responsive than Pendles in my opinion. Since changing over I have definitely had an increase in the amount of miles I get to a full tank. With the pendle map I was getting somewhere around 310 miles per fill, with Chris's map I'm getting around 340. The map was data logged live with me driving so I literally felt every change along the way to the final result. I'm very happy with how my van drives now and will happily recommend @Dav-Tec .

My TSI is all stock running gear apart from the Pendle remap on there rolling road. 315BHP

I’m using a revo map give them a ring they will tell you were your nearest dealer is and for intercooler and hose kits look at forge for the Downpipe try longlife exhausts as it will have to be made has a one off good luck

Curious that if you look up both TSI T6 engines on their website they only lost it as 260bhp. Vans varus from one to another but not by 55bhp.

We certainly wouldn't run power anywhere near 300bhp without the correct supported mods

Interesting indeed. Perhaps they have moderated the map somewhat following the number of reported cases of hesitation?
My 204 recorded 198 as standard, and 303 after their remap - but I’ve since encountered that hesitation problem at certain revs and once I’ve sorted out another issue, will be looking at a change (one thing at a time though).

Yeah we can sort you out mate as @Gazbadge said we don't have the hesitation issue. Our file writer knows what causes it

Mine is mapped by Chris all be it a BiTDi 204 diesel which now runs 257 with not one shred of hesitation. It pulls strong from the minute I plunge the pedal to the floor.

Then you add in the DSG map and it’s a delight to drive and also a lot of fun.

The best part is the power runs are so much fun.
