    2016 180PS Bi-TDi CFCA engine failure

    I have a T6 BiTDI so does this mean I won’t have this problem as all I see said is don’t touch a bi turbo but no real idea why? Appreciate any help.

    May be confused …. The 204ps is a 150kw engine…( bi turbo ) ..different units of power measure ….The 204 is fandabidozi :)

    EGR and Turbo failure - related?

    The engine code just says what fuel and power the engine is. All 204 bi-turbos are CXEB. There was a previous 180 BiTdi that had an issue with an older version of the egr cooler that broke down internally and metal partials entered the bores and caused scoring.

    Good to know. I think the bi-turbo (180 and 204) are both dual piston. Did the garage say if the failure is linked with increased fuel pressure after mapping?

    A revo remap is a thing of beauty. My bi-tdi 180, is so sweet to drive with my revo stage 1 that gives me 213(ish) BHP. As @Tourershine says, it is hilarious when you leave some donkey lagging behind after they expect to pile past you.
