    Soft close fuse? Sliding door.

Sort of a repost so sorry, anyone know if the soft close slider motor has a dedicated fuse please. Mines working on one side, not the other. It's not the 40amp fuses under the seat (they're for the power slide) and not any of the other fuses under the seat. It's taking power from the central...

Power sliding doors - one door just flashing

My battery nearly died the other day, since then I've had the left hand door illuminated on the door buttons. From the inside, I can open the door manually but if I try to open the door from the fob, button on the dash or outside handle - nothing. It only works if I pull the 40 amp J fuse...

Power sliding doors - one door just flashing

I am currently experiencing a similar problem. I suspect that my battery is also giving lower voltage. The right sliding door does not work. The door was open when I started my T6. I barely started. Since then I had the flashing light on the dash button. I disconnected the battery and now the...

    T6.1 sliding door stuck open

Hi guys. I extensively searched the forum with no answer. Car is no longer under warranty. The sliding door does not close as the back latch is stuck, I think on open position, see pics 1. I replaced a faulty fuse (#18, 5amp on the fuse panel) so I suspect something went bad with the latching...

    Soft close not working

Hi, I know there are a few threads on this and I've read 'em all ... 2024 Highline Kombi, full electric sliding doors. Trying to find the fuses, soft close not working on one door only. Doesn't seem to be the fuses under passenger seat, not sure if the soft close bit would have a separate fuse...

Power sliding doors - one door just flashing

Two big 30amp fuses under front of passenger seat (on mine) for the power sliders. I don't believe the soft close bit is specifically fused but that doesn't seem to be your problem. Edit: may be 40amp ... square things.

    Soft close not working

So apparently it's the door control module which I think is above the rear wheel arch near the sliding door motor. At least it wasn't just a fuse! Will know more tomorrow when I get the beast back hopefully. I now have a 16 mile old VW T-Roc on my drive.

Electric Tailgate, Tailgate Soft Close, Electric Sliding Door. Problems? Try this.

Found 'em. Removed 'em. Sliding doors no longer powered but soft close is still powered (working on one side only at the moment)! It's not the fuses under the seat as I took all those out.

Hi, 19 plate twin slider T6. Drivers side sliding door now wont slide or electronic lock. Checked door contacts, Checked 40amp fuses and power all there. I did notice that the interior lights are being activated either when I open the door. Did I read somewhere there is a micro switch in...

    Soft close not working

Oh that's interesting, mine didn't go intermittent, it was working and then it wasn't. No flickering lights on the dash either. Yeah I'm pretty sure the door does forget where it is if you mess with it too much while you're trying to get it to close. The soft close appears to get its power...

All I have done presently is to lube the hinge mechanisms but l will check the fuses…so thanks @ StratoFear for that little nugget. It still has a slight rattle in the offside sliding door, annoying because you hear it where you’re sat. As they very intermittent issues and the dash shows the...

    Badjamins van conversion

For that fuse panel yes, just connect the pos and neg. But check all those in-line fuses as you will have to change some as they will probs all be 5A. But we’ve run 16mm2 for the fuse panel so you may as well connect the fuse even if you use it as a big busbar. But keeping the fuse box gives...

T6 Multivan high current draw after locking

Hi, VW T6 Multivan 2018 — I’m dealing with a high current draw after locking the car (150–130 mA). I approached it the usual way by pulling fuses. The cabin fuse SC5 (15A) causes the draw to drop to 60–20 mA, which is fine, and after reinstalling the fuse the draw stays normal. Unfortunately...
