Hi all, I'm currently having the headache of trying to get my engine sorted. Does anyone know where I can find a reconditioned CFCA? And get it fitted in the North East?
Any help in this matter is appreciated.
Andy
Injectors need coding. If this is not done they engine will not run right and be louder. I had this on my 5 series after replacing the engine. as soon as i coded the injectors it was quiet as a mouse.
I have replaced the CFCA in my california and coded the injectors straight away
I should clarify this in all fairness to CFCA owners - NOT ALL of these have proven to be lemons but do your own research on them and make your own mind up.
Lusso again - do some digging .
If i was buying another it would be a tsi
or a 150bhp if i couldn't get a tsi .
Good luck with your search
CAAx and CFCA engines don't have a flange. Probably a good idea to replace the seal on the crankshaft although I didn't hear specific complaints.
Timing kit for CAAx and CFCA - 03L198119D, INA kit without pump - INA 530 0550 10, with pump: 530055032.
BEWARE: INA belts with "Made in PL" label...
Here’s the UK supplier, cheaper than buying from Poland according to their support.
They are compatible with CFCA.

Edit; this link just take me back to the Polish site. Making some enquiries.
Good until they are bad, like many things in life.
I’ve got a CFCA which many wouldn’t touch with someone else’s. It’s rock solid once the EGR was sorted out and the official service interval reduced.
They are not drive and forget about vehicles.
I'm afraid that's not correct for MY17 CXHA engine - seems to be for CFCA engine.
Instead
