So I have an ex RAC van and it's missing the left hand centre vent as they must have had some tablet or something there, does any know of a decent priced replacement or have one for sale. I found some on eBay but they were over £100!

I’m in the middle of converting an ex rac t6 van, hence the bright orange. I’m cutting out some 9mm ply batons for the floor and it looks like it is too high for the ridges (see picture). Is this expected?

Hello and welcome! Good luck finding your van, seriously you’re going to need it! If you’re set on DSG (which all come with the 150bhp btw) and Tailgate then your best bet is probably an ex-RAC van. They do a bit of towing so do have extra wear and tear and the electrics are heavily modified...

It was failing to charge the battery properly when driving - weirdly it worked fine when idling! Van is ex RAC so no doubt it's had a harder life than usual. Luckily the replacement was covered under my RAC warranty.

Does anyone know what this connector is/was for? It comes out of the loom coming from the van to the mirror. Ex RAC (if the orange wasn't obvious enough!) There are no parking sensors, so the hazard warning light on the mirror option seems unlikely. Unless the sensors are completely different

Welcome to the Forum. 155K is fairly high mileage, but potentially that van could still represent good value if it is priced accordingly, it's in reasonably good condition and you understand that it might need significant work doing on it in future. Good luck in your search for the right one.

Some of us paid money to get the foglights to do that! Potentially one of the more useless available features!

Sounds like they may have been coded to operate that way? Or has it just started happening?
