    Soft close not working

...one door on a couple of occasions not closing when it was half open, I guess the sensor not knowing where the door was and as if something was blocking it as it stuttered both ways. Only 22,000 miles in but with extended warranty 🤔 Due a service early in the new year so will see what happens.

    Coolant leak - Investigation ideas

Coolant pump replaced, 3rd party warranty paid up - Very pleased. Had third and fourth opinion on brake disc and pad replacement - both said no need to replace as plenty of metal and pad remaining. Kwik fit and ATS expect replacement to be half that quoted by VW!

5 Year Factory warranty v the all in mot, breakdown, and 2 year service plan

...difference 5 Year Factory warranty v the all in mot, breakdown, and 2 year service plan I have a 5 year factory warranty from new does this cover more works to van than the extended warranty plan ? Seems they don't cover a lot on the 2 year one and only want to cough up 50% of repairs costs ?

    T6.1 Heater blowing Hot-Air only

Hi Everyone, Quick update to my question above to share my experience. VW's extended warranty covered my vehicle's repairs, which the official dealer completed in over two weeks. Please see the attached pro forma invoice. It looks like a significant job. I hope that would help someone.

VWCV warranties - All-in vs Extended?

Hi there folks, anyone know what is the difference between all-in plan and extended waranty? All-in plan currently £29.60 before end of August 2023. (Unfortunately the online site will not let me purchase as I already have a service plan in place, expires 4th Sept 2023, After closing date!)...

    VW service and warranty claim

My T6 has gone for an inclusive major 56k service. As part of their checks they report and video a cracked engine mount and leak to the engine sump do you know if these might be covered under the VW extended warranty or will they argue wear and tear ? regards

VW All in plan .. again

This is correct! 1 week before my 3 yr warranty ran out the heater stopped working. Assist guy said it was a dashboard out and £1600 blower unit. Put the request in and told me about "All In". Said if it had gone 10 days later and I chose to extend the warranty, there would have be30 day period...

    Fault Code P22D500

Ok a new N75 solenoid didn't fix the issue, so used the VW Roadside assistance (AA) and it's gone into VW under the extended warranty All In plan... I guess it's the Actuator on the inlet valve. Will get a call next week from them...

Ad Blue - final help please

...they really should change it under a goodwill agreement as it’s a known fault hence the design change. Mine was done under an extended warranty. I’m also amazed but not surprised VW charge for software updates- these are usually to fix issues which shouldn’t exist in the first place. At 70000...

Misting from Front Main Oil Seal

Hopefully the extended warranty covers it as my “All in” plan doesn’t cover my leaks (front crank and power steering)

    VW additional service plan

Nice! Fingers crossed I have the same good fortune as you. Had an extended warranty for the last year since buying my van, been in and out of the garage at least 4 times, all resolved with the warranty. Definitely what it's there for!

    EGR flush RESULT…….

I would not advise the first option! My van had an 'annual' Flush and Hope (since 2018!), then finally I threw my toys out of the pram last year when I found myself with a similar quote. I got a replacement EGR done under goodwill (covered by the dealer and VW UK). I could clearly demonstrate...

    EGR flush RESULT…….

...very steep - SMG Croydon - as an update I have complained to VW customer care on the basis that this was already an issue in the extended warranty period and that VW should be giving me a new EGR as goodwill. It has literally been serviced as per VW at SMG annually and is low mileage. Will...
