Wiring OEM stereo to leisure battery

Is this worth doing?
I'm getting rear speakers fitted and thought may as well get this done as well as the interior lights.

It will still time out and turn off if that's what your trying to overcome ?
Prob not worth it unless you plan to repeatedly turn it back on or to change to aftermarket headunit
