Help please. I am wanting to replace my current CBE rotary dimmer switch with a new C-Line 'touch control' dimmer switch which I thought would be a simple job until I got a look at the new one. My problem is that the old CBE switch has three wires (live in, live out and ground) whereas the replacement C-Line has four (live in and ground in plus live out and ground out). In my naivety, I thought that I should just connect the live in and live out to either side with the two ground wires together on the existing (single) ground but when I did it and put the fuse back in the light all came on at maximum brightness but would not dim or switch off. I did double check that I had connected the two lives correctly as well! Pictures of the backs of both switches are below and because the symbols cannot be seen properly on the new C-Line, I have marked the 2nd picture to show what's what. Any advice much appreciated.
