Hi, new to the forum and would like to ask if anyone has experience of karting around windsurfing gear? I have a £20k budget and will need to use the van on a daily basis when not on my motorcycle. Baords are about 2.7mtrs long so I guess a SWB is out of the question or is it? Would a kombi or a shuttle suit if the seats were removed for surfing days? Does anyone out there currently use one of these vans for windsurfing? Thanks for looking, any advice is much appreciated.

You can carry 3mts comfortably with front seat flat. I carry up to 3.2mt worktops in my swb kombi just fine.
I have a boxed area at the back which is the same height as the seats folded where I put my worktops. Under here is all my tools. This is the best use of space I have seen as underneath you can have tools or toys and on top I've had 5 mountain bikes. All behind the rear seats.

I used to fly my minimal in the roof of my t5 but good point about the Mrs
