Hi All

I would like to get me tailgate and the two rear sliders tinted on my kombie, just after any tips or advise on what to go for in terms of how its done and shades etc.
I want to stop people from being able to see my tools in the back.

Cheers Adam

I got mine limo tinted for exactly the same reasons, brilliant can't see in even from close up. It was one of my urgent mods when I first got the kombi, kids also like the shade

Not specific, but these guys seem to be UK wide.

Global Tint UK

Tinted vehicle windows: the law

The rules for tinted front windscreens and front side windows depend on when the vehicle was first used. There are no rules for tinting the rear windscreen or rear passenger windows.

Vehicles first used on 1 April 1985 or later
The front windscreen must let at least 75% of light through and the front side windows must let at least 70% of light through.

Thanks for the replies , I've found a local firm (Tintwise) so going to contact them for some prices.

Yes im thinking Limo, looking at my sliders today and they do seem dark could it of been slightly tinted from factory?

Can you still see out of the rear window from inside?

Also will tinting have any effect my heated rear screen?
Not noticed any effect on mine. Shouldn’t think it would tho. If it would have an effect I’m sure the tinting guys would of in formed me as I have a 7 guarantee with the film.
