Wind deflectors

I would like to buy some wind deflectors but there are many to choose from. I have looked on Amazon and although better priced some of the reviews are not great.
I didn’t realise there would be issues with something that should be fairly simple
So looking for recommendations please.

I got the Climair smoked ones. Pretty simple to fit, and got them from Euro Car Parts which seemed to be cheaper than elsewhere. Got a discount/ cash back on them too but can’t remember how/ why!

I have see quite a few posts on wind deflectors, so thought I would my thoughts.

I have now had 3 different types so maybe can help others with a choice. The ones I have used (in the order I used them), with pros and cons are:

1. VW OEM:

These stick on the outside onto the painted surface of the door around the window. (cant comment on fitting as they were on the van when I got it)

Pros: Pretty quiet
Cons: Not the most attractive, eventually they started to come away and were very difficult to remove and left a slight 'shadow' in the paint, most expensive of the 3.

I have fitted these, which seems to be decent quality, doesn't scratch easily. works well on the motor ways. less wind noise and can keep the windows a bit lower in the rain.
