Wheel Colour ???

Hi everybody… Indium Grey T6 Combi. What colour wheels suit the van?? Appreciate any feedback. Cheers

Think it depends on the style of wheel.

I like bronze or black for alloys or silver for steelies.

Black will look great when clean, but show brake dust immediately. I’m forever cleaning my black wheels. Bronze is the colour I wish I went for as it looks great on a grey van.

Thanks guys…. I was leaning towards Gloss Black as I’ve got them on my daily. Agree with @Srea064 regarding brake, but living up a dirt track I’m always washing stuff. Bronze is a good call put need to see them on a Grey van ( pics) pls. Why only silver on steeliest, not alloys?

Black wheels are fine if you're coy or self-conscious about your wheels. All design detail is lost in the gloom, making your wheels appear nondescript and uninteresting... IMO.

I was once told by a senior manager at Balfour Beatty that being a "Grey Man under his radar" was a skill! I think that should qualify me as nondescript and uninteresting

Black tends to make wheels look smaller, a bit of an optical illusion. Fine it you're on bigger rims or running chunky man tyres, but not so good if youre running standard 16s on regular tyres.

I just had mine refinished in VW Anthracite grey, They are currently filthy with brake dust and it doesn't show anywhere near as bad when black.
Photos are when it was clean. I am by nature more conservative and subtle in my approach. I like to see overtly dressed vans but not for me. It's why my house is mostly magnolia I have the T shirt for all the other colours but time is an enemy to all of them.

Silver has always been the correct colour for wheels. Black, grey, bronze etc is just a passing trend.

I’m currently running 17” cascavels on my Indium Grey Caravelle and can’t afford to swap wheels, but I may get them refinished. Was going to go black but now someone has mentioned bronze I thought I’d stick that into Chat GPT too…..

I’m thinking of doing some navy blue accents on the van eventually so have to take that into consideration with the wheel choice
