Wheel alignment query

Hi,

Recently had springs replaced so garage advised wheel alignment to be done. However rear offside tyre had an MOT advisory re going bald on inside - so garage advised change tyre first then have alignment done.

Just had tyre replaced, mentioned re wheel alignment (it's tyre fitting place only) - his view was that as changes that can be made to rear are so minimal, front wheel alignment would probably suffice.

Just wondering people's thoughts on this? 4 wheel alignment seems to be the way to go... Vehicle is a Camper, assume if don't go with four wheel alignment I'll get a repeat of rear offside going bald on inside - or is that primarily as all the weight is on a camper - i.e. units etc are on the offside?

When I had our suspension changed, a four wheel alignment was a mandatory stipulation and part of the suspension change process. I would highly recommend you have it done.

Thanks - I'd pretty much made my mind up to get four wheel alignment, just wanted to double check people's thinking

Search for Hunter 4 wheel alignment in your area. I had mine done not long ago and can see a noticeable improvement in both the wear on front wheels and also position of steering wheel when going straight!

I'm in the Manchester area so quite a good choice (I'm excluding likes of Kwik fit lol who now do Hunter alignment)

Fact that rear offside got an advisory going bald made me think no choice but four wheel alignment - although not sure how it all works - I.e could be misalignment at front actually causing rear issue if you follow me!
