Anyone know if it's ok to weld the t6, internet search appears contradictory re disconnect battery or ecu etc. I'm not actually welding the van but making some brackets which will be bolted in and want to tack together in situ if possible.

Standard welding practice applies according to the OEM repair guide.

Some panels are bonded together some are spot/laser or seam welded.

But all panels are Galvanised.... so take that into account when welding. (Grind off the galv, weld up. Grind down. Make good. And coat with galv paint prorection. Then colour top coats.)
