Wear rate 19” Khumo PS91

Anybody had any experience with Khumo Ecsta PS-91 (iirc) and tyre wear. We had these fitted to a set of 19” on full camper conversion 6.1 in mid April , looking at the fronts they are 2mm or so from the wear bar indicator already after 6.5 months across the tyre. Not sure on mileage but not a great deal it’s a daily driver plus a good 1500 mile trip to Scotland in August. Does this seem excessive or normal for this kind of tyre ?

Kumho are not premium tyres so don’t expect too much, false economy IMO especially given the vehicle value.
Are they load rated for the van?

Yes they are correctly load rated correct size etc , I deliberately chose them as an upper mid range tyre with the wheel package we bought and decent general reviews. I deliberately did not go with the usual premium suspects which I run on our other cars satisfactorily (PS4/5 and Eagle F1 Asy 6) as tend to be softer compound and was worried about wear rates being fast on a heavy vehicle and I never buy budget tyres due to poor performance and as mentioned false economy. I was just enquiring on whether what appears to be likely a 12 month lifespan for front tyres is expected from a road biased tyre (I had AT tyres/wheels fitted previous years).

Would appear on a bit of Googling wear rate is poor on this tyre , try something else next I think when it’s completely done.

I get 60K miles but that’s on 17” Goodyear C rated tyres.

I got (close to) premium tyres last time and they didn’t last well at all (not helped by them being over inflated by garage and me not noticing for too long). Went for lowest of the low cheapest of the cheap this time and they seem to be lasting really well, performance may be down a bit and they are definitely noisy but not really a problem for a camper
