thieves took mine from meadowhall just chopped it off in broad daylight
Thankfully i was in my FORD GALAXY
they are targeting all vehicles with high ground clearance
its been going on for months there
the manager of meadowhall said to me ..
All vehicles are left at owners risk=claim off your insurance

The government tried to stop this kind of thing by licensing scrap yards, particularly licence certain specialist metal scrap-age ; but yet again these laws only effect the law abiding amounts us.

Look for a gang of midgets with battery powered grinders and saws. Brother had diesel stolen from his yard fuel tank which he thought was secure, cut through outer skin then a hole in inner skin and pumped fuel out. Bring back hanging. Baz

We had one stolen from a customers Sprinter parked outside our business over a weekend, they'd done loads in the area over the same couple of days - its frighteningly easy to do on a Merc, no need to even break into the vehicle.

i dont think they break into any vehicle its just underneath so easy access
they seem to like high ground clearance ones like my Ford galaxy, Vans Pickup 4x4,s etc

There's a method they use to get in and flip the bonnet on Sprinters which is scarily easy & quick, then one gets in the engine bay while the others underneath, exhaust system left lying on the ground and yes higher sitting vehicles are easier to target.

Meadowhall manager said claim on your insurance But that was stupid as my Galaxy,s worth nowt
