I'm after some inspiration for some wall storage ideas to fix to the rear panels above the bed. To hold phone keys etc.

I've seen some pre fab panels that are carpeted and have fabric pockets on them, but they are ridiculously expensive for what they are!

So what have you lovely people done?

There was a post earlier.... Looked really good idea. Seemed to be velcro with press studs and pockets. Had bed in back as well .. cannot find now! Was hard to make out name tho!

I made use of the mother-in-law's sewing skills and had her make some wall storage for clothes, but also clock, keys, phones etc. Possibly more than your requirements, but without needing the depth of the pockets, and weight of clothes, would be far easier, I used well nuts to secure a length of awning rail to existing clip holes. Round cable was then sewn into the top of the storage, so it just slides in.

Cheers guys!

Those side bags look ideal. Just not sure they will fit with my bed in the seat position!

We use various pockets & pouches from Vantale throughout the van.

Not cheap but beautifully (hand)made in Germany. Very strong and sturdy. They have quite a collection in different shapes and sizes and you can order them in your own custom colour combinations. The pockets attach with heavy duty snaps (4 visible in the back). Excellent stuff.

These are the ones I'd found. Look so good, but i just can't justify the cost of them! I may have to bite the bullet!

Morning, doing a bit of forum searching - i'm looking at somehting similar to what you've done on the upper rear panel - is the panel attatched with Velcro? I cant decide whether to do what you've done and go inside the rebate, or use the outer edge with the existing panel holes. cheers Dan

The panel is fixed in the van as part of the conversion. It’s 8mm plywood lined with felt. So the snap are easily fixed with screws.
Cheers, Richard
