Vw H7 Or Transporter Hq Headlights.

Hi guys,

I now have the fundage to replace my H4 lights.

What are your thoughts, VW H7 or Transporter HQ stylee after market lights?

I ask as I am not a great fan of the led light bar as seen on the aftermatket lights but what about performance of the VW Vs aftermarket projector?

I'm in the same position, I'm not keen on the dotted appearance of the Chinese made ones, and we're starting to hear of problems on here so maybe the quality is not up to scratch. But I really don't like the look of the DRLs on the VW H7 either, they look aftermarket. I think the H4 DRLs look better but then you get no light from the headlights. I wish the price of the VW LEDs wasn't so huge, they seem to be the answer

H7's are brilliant lights and I love the look of the DRL's. I think they look classy.

Many that go for the H7 like the OEM look or didn't like the aftermarket options.
Many that picked aftermarket did so because they offered the ability of keeping dipped beam on when high beam is active without coding. There are a few comments about some makes been cheap Chinese quality so research carefully if going down this route.
Reports are roughly 50/50 in terms of light output.
I think you're better off picking the light unit you like as they will both offer similar performance.
