heard a rumor the vw stealers are giving these away free?anyone tried one yet?havent had a chance to pick one up yet. link www.vwconnect.com

Technically they are only free for cars not commercials but some dealers will give you one, a couple people have tried them and seemed slightly underwhelmed by them, not tried one myself

I’ve got one, bit disappointing really. Tells you your previous journeys, battery voltage, mileage and you get points for driving about???

Did you get them from van dealer or car

Took mine for a service (combined van/car dealership) and saw one on the desk and asked if it was for vans as well as cars. They didn’t know if it would work for a van so told me to take one and try.

I asked at the car dealer as we have an UP aswell.

Wasn't my usual dealer though and I'd parked away from the windows so they didn't know what I had etc

Just walked in and asked about it, the handed me one no questions asked.

Wasn't with the trip though.
Paired it, looked at what it can do then haven't looked at it again since
