- Brake pad warning light is on, now this is a confusing one. The light come on about 2 month ago, so i changed the discs and pads all round, fitted everything and the light remained on, spoke to VW when i got the pads as there was no warning light in the new pads, they stated that the van was never fitted with them as new. I'm bewildered as to why it even come on and why it's not going off. All fluids are fine. Couple guys have said VCDS can switch off but i don't have the software, or the ability to use it..
