Hi,

I'm converting a T6.1 and the previous owner (trades person) has installed various extras in the back that go through to the front and some out to the battery.
Im looking for any youtube video that shows dash removal from the drivers small vent near the A pillar, through the fuse box area, and then out through the glove box/bulkhead to battery.

My odb fuse area is a complete spiders web with additional wires/connections that Id like to remove

Any suggestions?

Many thanks

Trim tool to remove the end of the dash. Its pretty stiff, then look for screws to remove to get the other bits out.

post some pics of what we are looking at?

I've managed to a little further into the dash now and managed to see what all the extra wiring was.

2 lights additional aftermarket work lights (1 now removed)
Some sort of garmin GPS system
1 set of cables possibly for an invertor into the cargo area.

They leave the cab area through bulkhead into engine bay via a grommit just behind the fuse box area. This is quite tricky to get to at the moment.

The GPS system seems to be teed into the headlight switch. via red/blue wires. If I disconnect the fuses to it I get headlight failure so I need to figure out how to disconnect and retain my lights.

jeez . . . that some extra cables you have there.

Ha Ha I don't know how they fitted them all in.
I'm hoping tomorrow when I remove the scuttle panel I can get a better idea where everything is going.

Was all that flexi conduit bundled up in that space?

There was a fair bit of it coiled up in their before it went of to the rear of the van.
The rest of it was all in there though. Meters of excessive cabling for the gps tracking unit. GPS antenna and receiver were all in there too.

Blimey - where did that all head to the back via, up the A pillar and along the roof?

Having it in copex like stuff is at least a good choice to protect the cable but I've no idea how they got it all in that space - I guess at least it was packed in enough not to rattle...?
