Well worth putting yourself in debt for the newer XS50, no heat issues, much smaller. Loads of 30a out there tho..
I've got a Renogy 50A dc-dc. (That can be set to 30Ain the app)
It also has a solar mppt built in.

I second this. I was going to go for the 30 but went for the 50. Much better
In case anyone was wondering you can set the xs50 to any current you like ie current limited.
Say for example if you were swapping out a cetek d250 that only had cables that could carry 20 amp you can fit a victron XS go into the app and then just set it at 10 15 20 amp whatever you want until you upgrade your cables.

I did get the full 30 amps from mine, but because it ran hot the amps rolled back to pre industrial levels! I haven't taken mine out from under the passenger seat, it is acting as a prop for a bass speaker I have under there! Still plenty of space for the xs50 and Ablemail AMT12-2.
