i know Vanstyle offer free fitting on accessories brought from them but do they really fit things like lowering springs for free as well? Because that's how I read it for 2wd variants which seams a no brainier especially as I am only 20 mins down the road.

*we do not offer a fitting service for 4Motion models. If you have a Sportline model your vehicle will already be lowered by -30m*

I have read this too, i was thinking if i go full bilstein are be there if they will fit them for free.

I can see a phone call coming on tomorrow but not sure how it will sit the standard alloys on because I can't change the wheels yet.

Hi, yes I've called and it's free fitting on everything, have ordered new side bars, roof bars and roof spoiler but be warned the nearest fitting date available was the 29th October, as they are that busy......

Thanks for that @Pedro i will get on to them tomorrow. Did you have to pay in advance for everything or just a deposit or something?

No , nothing @Rob, I just booked it in and asked if I could pay cash on the day, so never even had to leave a deposit and they booked the first available date which suited.
They couldn't have been any more help if they tried.
I ordered the rear roof spoiler for the barn doors and asked if they could get it colour coded for me, they said they don't do it themselves but have someone who does it all for them, so for an extra £140 it will be all ready for me and they will fit everything for me on the day...

I have purchased coil overs from them and inquired about free fitting and when it could be done. Soonest date was beginning of November but as I am far too impatient to wait until then, I'm going to have a crack at fitting them myself. What could possibly go wrong?

A suspension strut breaking your arm as you jack it out of the hub...Chickened out on the T5 and got someone else to do it. Be careful.

I'm not going to be doing it alone, I have enlisted the help of a work colleague who has more experience of this kind of thing than me.
Will take same progress pics during the process
