Afternoon guys just fitted the vankraft double seat mechanism which leans 10° more when I put the seat flat it will not lift back up has the seat belt has tightened up have I done something wrong

Thanks in advance

That’s strange, can you not tilt it up at all cause the seat belt should have enough slack as it’s mounted in the seat back

This has happened before...Read about this a while ago. Can't remember what the issue was for them.

Sorted apparently I'm missing a belt clip which stops it retracting all the way in.

Cheers
does your fix still work? can you link to what clip you have used. i'm having to use the glove box to the buckle to ensure slack. How are you liking the new 10 degree incline?

Hi all
Help needed please I have just fitted a van Kraft seat bracket no issues apart from when I took my seat apart one of the black inserts to the right hand bracket is missing ?
It’s the part that fits between the bolt and the side triangle bracket
Small black ring ? Allowing the seat to drop forward
Any ideas would be great or were to get them from please
Part number ?
Thanks all

Just fitted my Vankraft hinge. It is a bit of a fiddle getting a spanner in against the cushioning. But all went OK (and I did not loose the little plastic bushes!). Very pleased with it. Makes the bench seat much more comfortable and the fold forward will be very useful. Not put the ply backing into the seat yet but will do that next. Well done Vankraft.

Did you take the seat out to fit? The Vankraft video has the chair out of the van and we just wondered how fiddly it is to do without removing the seat from the van

Thank you! Is it tricky to remove the seat? I tried looking on the forum, but couldn't see any instructions.
No. 15 min job. Number 10 and 12 spline bit. 4 bolts and back rests removed. Mind there are black washers that need to be watched for dropping when removing. You need them for the rotation. The base is straight forward enough as removing a metal bucket

I did it with the seat in the van. Had to swivel it a bit to get at the side hinge bolts which you do need to remove. Unclipped the fabric (fake leather in my van) and just pushed it up a bit for access. You need a multi-spline socket set which I got from Halfords

Really not that hard even with the foam in the way. I have not made the back board yet though althought that also does not look too difficult to fit.
