Van x tailgate curtain

'Pre bent' ones? Might need a bit more bending, I've found pre bent rails to bit random ... the angle is probably fine ...
The ones I have are straight and have to bend them yourself ,iam assuming the rail goes as close to the window as possible
Well mine (when they come) will be going on the flat mostly horizontal bit with the funny long holes in) when they come.
I'm sure my T5 wasn't like that so yours may be different?

Mine is the same as yours ,look like vent holes
I was wondering if they might for fitting clips for caravelle or california parts ...?

Show us a picture of how yours sits on that bit please. My rails aren't here yet. They'll be straight so will need some slight bending I guess.
Mine are straight as I have not bent them yet ,go a bending tool now so going to bend it tomorrow then I will post photo as long as I don’t make a mess of it of course

I reckon you might bend the rail by wrapping some rag around the channel to protect the finish and jam it between some bench vice jaws or some other small solid opening where you can exert a bit of but not too much force and ease a bend rather than crease into the channel.
Not sure what make my curtains are but the upper channel opening faces downwards and the bottom rail opening faces towards the driver.

I'm not sure what make our curtains are (they might be Kiravans) but they came with press studs to keep them in place at either end and the 'receiving part' is screwed into the metal next to the window. When we first got our van, I realised that the converter had screwed them into a part of the door where the rubber seal went which caused a small leak and the curtain got wet. My solution was to slide some strong magnets into the end seams and use them to stick to the metal window surround. I also took the original fixings and replaced them after filling the holes with a blob of silicone sealant just in case. That sounded better in my head than it looks on the screen so if anybody needs pictures, I'll post them!
Yeah same problem with mine on my T5 (self fitted).
