Urgent help required again

I came back from a great holiday in the camper and put it into the garage for a service and ball joint replacement yesterday before I take my laddie and his pal away in it fishing for the rest of the week tomorrow.
Mechanic has informed me the driveshaft died taking it off the ramps.
I’ve tried everywhere nobody has stock
I would even take a second hand part I’m that desperate to save my laddies holiday
Does anyone have or know where I can get a drivers side driveshaft for my T6? Does a T5 fit the T6?
I need it like now. I’m happy to drive to pick it up. I’m in Dundee
Any help appreciated

Its a common part, if you cant find it locally surely you can order online with next day delivery ?

Tried everywhere for next day delivery. Even placed an order this morning for one before getting an email an hour ago saying my order was cancelled because of no stock.
VW girl tried OE and aftermarket on all their suppliers. Everyone is on back order
Europarts boy said he can get one but knows for a fact it’s not the correct fitment as he’s had them returned so many times.
I’m pissed right off

What's up with the original driveshaft? They don't just fail immediately? Sounds like he's screwed up fitting the ball joint when he dropped the lower arm to me?

Says cv won’t sort it as it the inside.
I don’t know
Just know I’m not going anywhere tomorrow with the boys now.
I’ve ordered one from eBay a billstien one.
Says be here Thursday but I doubt it. I’ve messaged boy to ask for next day delivery but not heard back.
It won’t be worth taking the boys 5 hours up the road on Friday to come home on Sunday.

Apparently it can happen. Been speaking to few mechanics.
I think my new stiffer suspension and a lot more power from the remap as well as me tearing about like a boy racer enjoying my new set up has put strain on everything and anything that was on its way out has failed.
I suppose It could have failed five hours away in the middle of nowhere and totally ruined the holiday.
At least I’ve got a shot at rescuing things just now.
I’m picking up a driveshaft from Perth (45 mins away) in the morning from Europarts. I’m hoping it’s not the same one Europarts Dundee warned me about not fitting.
I thought it was worth a shot as the bilstein one from eBay won’t be here until Thursday at the earliest.
If this Europarts one fits we will still be able to leave tomorrow afternoon.

Well I picked up the driveshaft from Europarts in Perth this morning and mechanic has just phoned to say it won’t fit.
So the boy in Dundee Europarts was spot on saying it wasn’t the correct fitment.
So I’m going nowhere with the boys today.
My next hope is the bilstein one I ordered from eBay being delivered tomorrow.
I’ve asked to pay to speed up the delivery and was told it’s not possible.
Estimated delivery is tomorrow but it doesn’t even look like it’s been posted yet.
I’m just sitting here watching our holiday slip away and there’s nothing I can do about it.
To say I’m pissed off is an understatement.
I’ve spent thousands on the van for these trips this year.

Second driveshaft won’t be here until Friday now.
My laddie and his pal have managed to swap shifts and take Monday Tuesday off so I’m hoping to get away Friday as soon as the driveshaft is fitted.
Home Tuesday night. So fingers crossed we get a decent break.
