Hi, I'm about to do a preventative EGR strip out and clean at 45k miles on my 2019 CXEC bi-turbo. Trying to obtain correct pipes before I start as these will be replaced whilst I'm at it. I understood the rear pipe was upgraded to a cast design with part number 04L131521BH. However the VW bot as telling me to use the (cheaper) 04L131521BF which is the style with the gauze-like collar and was fitted as original. Turbo assembly is 03N.145.703N.
I'm minded to follow VW bot, but before i order them has anyone else experienced the same and fitted the updated part?

I have a VW T6 California Ocean new end October, 2019. 15k miles. Everything fine . CXFA engine. The small rear EGR cooler pipe is NOT the latest one with the part cast tube & 10 ridges/corrugations. Neither is it the earlier pressed tube with 5 corrugations that always seems to crack & leak in between the corrugations. Mine has the gauze like collar, possibly around a join in the middle, & 8 corrugations. Im'e pretty sure it was fitted as original when the van was made, not a replacement. Iv'e seen many youtube videos & forum photos of this pipe with a crack/leak & they all show the pipe with 5 corrugations.
