Unmount sliding door step

Could anybody please explain how to safely unmount the sliding door step? I'm afraid to break it.. And couldn't find any videos/instructions/schemes

Pull it upwards.

Looks like your flooring has been laid over the top of the step, the floor will probably have to come up first.

Yeah that's going to be a challenge with the floor on top of it. As others have said, it pulls straight up.

Right. That's why I'm asking this question. I'm going to put 10 mm armaflex af thermal insulation on the metal floor and then put the 9 mm ply wood (standard oem one). And probably then 2-3 mm of something like vinyl, haven't decided yet. So I think Kombi step might be hight enough for this

Otherwise I have this plan B: VW T5 Raised floor doorstep finisher (passenger side) | Toniq Ltd (will try to make it by myself)
