I have recently bought a t6 camper and it has 255/35/20 tyres … I’m going away for a week and am pretty much at maximum payload.. and don’t know what my tyre pressures should be at.. they are reading 40psi at the moment.. the door info doesn’t relate to the tyres at all so standing here scratching my head and staring to panic ( girlie panic!) any help greatly appreciated 🫶🏻🤦🏼‍♀️

Hi, that's probably about right. I was told 36psi on my 265/40/20, and used to run 42psi on my 235/55/19 ...

Empty I run around 38 - fully loaded (tools in back and car on trailer) I run low 40s

On a T28 with 255/45R18 (so same width tyres, therefore similar contact patch) the pressure sticker shows 48psi each end at max load. Given the smaller side walls going much lower would risk dinking a rim. Don’t exceed the max pressure on the tyres though, probably around 50psi depending on the load rating.

There is a thread on the forum already with this tyre size and this question…

From reading a couple of posts in there I’d suggest check your tyres’ load ratings too.
