Tsi uprated clutch

Hi,

I'm in need of a uprated clutch for the tsi. Has anyone had a helix or sachs organic clutch fitted? I'm hoping to avoid a very stiff or on/off clutch!

I've had a sachs fitted yesterday.

It's stiff but a good bite feeling. It's quite progressive. People say it gets a bit easier as it gets older.

Yes. Had to import it from Germany

I had Sachs organic too, bought and fitted by VAS Works in Dorset. However just sold the van and bought a DSG. Pedal was firmer but you get used to it, even with 300HP REVO map it held well, rated to 550nm.

Cheeky question but what was the ballpark figure on the cost of the clutch?

Fitting £300

If you need a fly wheel that will be more.

I think I paid about £450 for the clutch and fitting was mates rates as I helped. If you call VAS Works Dorset they can quote a price.
