Transporter HQ V3 - Bulbs - The saga continues

Started a new thread showing the difference in different types of bulbs fitted to the headlights.

I have the V3 versions and so far I have tried the following.

Standard halogen bulbs - these were rubbish at best.

I have then fitted a set of Amazon H7 twin sided LED bulbs. Now they are a vast improvement over the standard halogen bulbs, but being twin sided it leaves a shadow at the bottom of the beam.

Then we have Ring 220 halogens. These are brighter and give a good spread. But with all the other bulbs on the van being LED the colour just look very mismatched.

I the have some 360° LEDs from Amazon again. These we quite honestly rubbish. Very dull.

I have just ordered a HID kit which will be here tomorrow and I will post up once I have fitted them.

So this morning the HIDs arrived. And they are fitted

Cannot wait for it to get dark now.

Also turns out you need to disable the pulse width modulation control on the headlights otherwise the HIDs will not work once the engine is running.
