Towbar wiring - towbar prep ?

Does your van have towbar prep. If it does it just required the wiring between the rear quarter panel and the towbar hitch. If it doesn't it requires the ECU module and the wiring loom from the module to the back.
You can check if you have the towbar prep on your build sheet, or look for the ECU module under the drivers seat.

Hi, I’m new here but found my build sticker on my T6 Highline 2018. I don’t see any of the codes mentioned above re towbar prep, can anyone help?

The only relevant codes are 1D0 or 1D7
If you don’t have towbar prep (which 99% of people won’t as it’s a factory extra) then you will need the full electric kit if you are installing a towbar
