Tie Down’s...

I’m looking to sort out the back of my Panel Van with Bulkhead fitted

Basically, I use it to carry various things (1 or 2 Motorbikes, Toolboxes, Dog Crate etc) and I’m looking to get it Insulated and Lined etc so I can sleep in it for the odd night away as well

I’m looking for something that could be flush mounted in the floor that would be flexible for tying down all sorts in various places. I’ve seen things the Recessed Unwin Rail as the link below......

Low Profile Rail - Rail Products - Floor Products

Has anyone used anything like this recessed into a 12mm ply floor or does anyone have any other ideas to keep it neat and flexible? I was thinking something like the above with a strip across the front behind the Bulkhead, and a strip down each side of the van

I am looking to do exactly the same but after looking into it more i decided to go a bit further and remove the bulkhead and fit windows. If like me you were worried about the security of the bikes and them moving around i got over this in two ways; Side windows can have either blinds or curtains fitted and then you can either have window shade or a curtain rail where the bulk head was. I am still considering a 20cm lower bulk head to rest the wheel against. Have a look at VanShades for the window blind pods and the screen shade. As for the floor currently I am going with the Caravelle rails as I want more flexibility in the future. The Unwin rails look very good though but wanted to fit a swivelling folding caravelle single seat in the back and it is a lot easier with the caravelle rails.
