Thule Omnistor 4200 LWB - searching for rain protector / walls

Hi all,

We've got a LWB T6 with a Reimo multirail and a Thule Omnistor 4200 fitted. We'd like to find a simple way to be outside without getting wet when it rains but I'm getting stuck in the G2 rain protector options. Hopefully someone can help out a bit! :D

When I look at the 3m LWB version I only see two options that are both not fitting :

Our Omnistor has a projection of 250cm and the low side of the cassette is about 188 cm from the ground. This means it seems to only be possible to buy the correct height (180-199cm) but this one only fits the T 3200 (other type of awning I think?) or the "small" version which is 205-224 cm, which is too high.

Does anyone know if there is a side wall available for the combination we have? Thanks!

Quick update, maybe relevant for someone in the future. Have been unable to find a good solution for this so bought an awning that we can attach to the kader rail in the Omnistor. Works like a charm, too bad the walls and front are not available for the LWB.

Not really related to your post, but asking purely selfishly. Would you be able to share any photos of this awning on your van?

I'm thinking about going for this one myself, also have a LWB.

I got mine from Comfortz Liesure, if you email them they can do other colours too, I got the sides and front in black

Too late for you Tomver, sorry, but I had this conversation with Rose Awnings in Poole today before they fitted our LWB 4200 3m awning. There is no factory fit rainblocker for the LWB version as it's too big a surface area and there isn't enough height on the T6 to shed the water (unlike larger motorhomes). They can however add a bar to the roof and supply the front and two side walls, all for I believe £700.

We have a Vango Kela Air, which is bombproof in a Hebridean gale but heavy and bulky and a bit of a pain to put up, take down and drive-away-and-back to fit. Am tempted by the option above as a 'quick fix' option to make the wind-out canopy a bit more sheltered in moderate winds/rain.

My first post - hope it's helpful to somebody.

Thanks for sharing! For now we are okay with the rainawning but haven't used it many times. On summer holiday, we only used the wind out Omnistor awning.

Will keep it in mind though.
