I already have an awning rail for a drive away awning on passenger side , Would this fit on the drivers side. And how does it attach to the van?

Not sure on that?
It’s fitted to my passenger side but assume it would mean the winder is at the back not the front would be the only difference but you’d have to check.
Bracket would be either multi rail bracket or one the drops in the channel
