So here’s an idea when restrictions are lifted

How about letting VIP members park on each other property with free hook up for free for 24/hrs given that most campsite are full.
So for example I live on the Wirral which is about 5 miles Cheshire Oaks ( mcarthur glen retail ), 6miles from Chester Zoo and about 5 miles from Liverpool One.
It would be interesting to see if other members an offer the same and get some sort of directory going.

Ah,and while you’re here....just a couple wee jobs that need doing...!

...like childcare...so hard to get a babysitter while me and SWMBO nip off to the pub to go on the lash!

Yup, more than happy, Suffolk, about 30 mins form the coast. :cool:
 
Super idea. Sadly we don't have the land/space and live in a city centre so not very appealing, plus they'll probably nick your van while your asleep in the back!

For those that offer up a spot that is very generous and like the op said could be the difference between getting away or not this season.

Shall I put some thought into it?
There's room for 100 vans but obviously limited facilities. Got plenty of water, some power and some toilet facilities but more vans just means mote portable loo's.
I'll have a think.
 
I am kind of mulling over the idea of making use of the legislation available for upto 56 nights of overnight camping allowed, in our large garden on the Suffolk countryside, without planning permission or a licence.There are a few small obstacles. There would be a nominal fee and only available to VIP Forum members and one van at a time only.
Obviously limited facilities ATM...but depending on interest this could be WIP.

Like I say, just a thought ATM.;)
 
Great idea. Harrow, NW London 5mins walk to Metropolitan line into London I often sleep in the van if we have family visiting so neighbors are used to a pop top-up. Water and electric hook up available. OLi where is this overnight beach spot ?
