This has fallen off my T6 - what is it?

Hello all,

When pulling onto my driveway this evening I saw this lying where I'd normally park my van (T6, 2019, Highline, T32). I've checked the CCTV before/after and it's definitely fallen off the van itself. There is a bit of bump as you come up onto the drive, so I'm assuming it's jolted it free.



Any idea what it is?

Ah! That makes more sense as the handbrake had felt a lot tighter in recent weeks... Great. Thanks lads.

Easy fix? I'll get that kit ordered and give it a go.

As post #4, when I first got under my van I thought how could it be designed so badly and that won’t last long.

You just need to fix an anchor point at the same position as the one that failed and use the same spring, shouldn’t be too hard to improve on the original.

Ok, thanks. I've ordered the full kit, rather than spring/plastic only, so will give it a go and hopefully it should last.
