Thermal Curtains???

I need to buy a new set of curtains and looking for best options. I bought the Veedub ones about a year ago and although I’m happy with the blackout quality, they do let a lot of heat in and they were a complete arse to fit and there is no way I’m doing that again.

Are there any better options with regards to keeping the heat out?

I’m edging to the Kiravans ones otherwise as I read that they are at least pre-bent etc.

(I’ve looked at the vanshades but I’ve ruled them out as I’m not keen on the pods they need to be fitted in unfortunately)

Any other options??

TIA

We made some window insulation panels from the silver foil/bubble wrap type insulation. They are a tight fit into the window reveals, then we just close the curtains over them. They cost us £14 to make & are totally light proof & Keep the van warm in winter, cool in summer & block out a lot of noise as a bonus.

What bubble wrap insulation did you use?

It was from Screwfix, £14 for a 10m roll. Can’t see it on their website now though.

We make custom size thermal window blinds, I have some in my van that i tuck behind my curtains so no need for suction cups to hold them in place
