Afternoon all. I have a issue with a new constant whinning noise whilst engine is under load then occasionally. i get a sudden lack of boost, which is accompanied by a much louder noise like the turbo is jammed, or air passing over something that isn't open properly, quick boot of the throttle and it picks back up and goes away. Its on my 67plate dsg 204.
Checked the obvious egr pipe and a quick look around but can't see or feel any leaking air or signs of blowing pipe soot.
It's making me think it's one of the turbos, but hoping it's a leak I haven't found yet.
