T6 has only been out for 3 years, so no way a ‘full’ new model is on the way. At best you could hope for is a facelift. T6.1 perhaps? Could equally be that they are preparing for the MY19 model as the New Years tweaks tend to come out between 2nd and 3rd quarter of the year.

LED lights as standard?! Hope so as I ordered mine today! (without LEDs)

I doubt there will be any significant changes. It took six years to facelift the T5 and the T6 is little more than a facelifted T5.1. Next step will be an all new model on a new platform with hybrid power options

No way will they up the spec without upping the price.

They’ll more likely up the price and lower the spec:(

I think a totally new model is still a good 4-5 yrs away from production and I reckon there will be a facelift next year for the 2020 model year. Whether it's a mild refresh, a "6.1" style makeover, or whether they call it a T7 will be down to the marketing dept. There, I've made my prediction, time will tell

it'll just be a T6.1

Just a facelift, while they continue to work on the T7

They won't fit new engines to existing models. The hybrid powertain simply won't fit into it.
Vw already said the t7 will be on the mbq platform.
Plus Ford just did a transit refresh this year before their new van in 2021 with the hybrid powertain and all electric van that's been driving around the country.

To be honest the T6 was released on Euro v with the vi following so I doubt it's an issue

Just spoke to my dealer today as I placed my order 2 weeks ago and he said nothing major just certain options added/deleted but he has confirmed my van will be MY19 so happy days ,not that I’m sure it really means any difference ?

That's because Euro 5 & 6 engines are adaptions of each other.
What I'm trying to say is there wouldn't be room to for a 2.0 petrol engine, the gearbox, hybrid motors and big battery pack and inverters into the same platform that's been used since 2004 with just an engine.
That's where the mbq platform comes into play. It can be shortened and extended and was designed to account for hybrid powertain.

Exactly what I said - getting ready for MY19.

So comparing from previous years ie from my17 to my18 what can we realistically expect ? I’m coming from a my16 euro 5 so hoping more than say just the adblue and the city braking feature

Dunno, haven’t got a clue! Never said I knew what would be included; just that it would probably be linked to MY19. :slow rofl:

Also note you now need to select armrests on driver seat.
Your screenshot is different to my options. I can’t select change rear bench seat.
I will be phoning the dealer tomorrow to check my options again!
