I can't fully straighten the little and ring fingers on my left hand. Not causing a problem yet, but it has developed from a small lump in the palm in just a couple of years.

From what I see they’re wavers although, bless them, most seem to have been in industrial accidents and only have one or two fingers left.
One poor chaps fingers seem to have locked in position, as if he were holding a cucumber, and he could only wave up and down.

Mrs Podge (don't tell her I called her that) had the advanced full-on witchy hand. So bad her index finger looked welded to her thumb. She had the op on 3 fingers I think it was. I won't post the post-op pic for fear of scaring children but it looked like she'd put her hand through a window! However, the results where brilliant and she can now open the hand fully flat and open jars and stuff. The hand looks completely normal again now although she can feel some scar tissue. They said it would have been a smaller op if she'd had it done earlier.

There, I've reached the front of the Post Office queue now, see you next week ladies.
