Considering an absolutely extreme shake up to our normal forum meet offerings. We usually bring home made(!) cakes to forum gatherations, but having close ties to the finest Indian cuisine in Smethwick, Birmingham, would the possibility of the bestest veggie samosas be appealing to the assembled masses for a change? Or stick with the tried and tested Lemon Drizzle etc. Thoughts on a napkin please!
(Yes those cakes are home made, just not in our home!)
+1 for savoury Asian snacks.😍

Getting a bit bored with cake. Samozas would be good, but not the grass version.

That's a thing from the past Wayne meat paste I haven't touched the stuff since my teens, the worst was fish paste Mother used to buy Shiphams and fed it to us sprogs.

I wonder if you could retrospectively sue her for abuse?!! My Sarah's just said her brother still takes fish paste sandwiches to work for his lunch! I couldn't sit by him, there's only two smells like that.... nasty!

Hi All, suggesting that we do a buffet combined meal on Saturday night. Making use of people airfryers. Going to go to Costco en route and use the fridge/freezer at the campsite.

Do people think this is a good idea? And would you mind contributing via bringing food or to a fund for the Costco shop?

Let me know in the messages.

For me it's a vote for funding towards a buffet...

I'll be bringing veggie samosas from the Birmingham, (they don't do meaty ones Uncle Pete) and my van AirFryer is available for the use of.

Think this could be a ideal first trip for us new starts,we seriously dont have a clue and could probably do with the assistance from yous old hands
It's a good drive from Carluke, but we are so worth it! It would be great to see you! Just bring some alcoholic nibbles and you will be welcomed with opened bottles! In the event of karaoke, bring ear defenders too. Great fun weekend!
