T6 Camper Conversion Electrical Setup – Sense Check Before I Start

Hi all,

Starting to plan out the electrical system for my T6 LWB camper conversion and wanted to sense check the layout before I start ordering everything.

I’ve attached a rough visual diagram of the planned setup. I’m trying to keep it fairly clean and OEM style rather than loads of switches/panels everywhere.

Current plan is:
  • Lithium leisure battery under driver seat
  • Victron SmartShunt
  • Victron DC-DC charger
  • Zeliox ZCM6 as the main switched fuse/distribution unit
  • Positive + negative busbars under passenger seat
  • 240V hook-up with Victron charger
  • Future solar provision
  • Dometic fridge
  • Diesel heater
  • LED spotlights in pop-top support bars
  • Rear reading lights
  • LED mood lighting
  • USB/12V outlets
Couple of things I’m mainly looking for feedback on:
  • Does the overall layout make sense?
  • Cable sizing look sensible?
  • Any obvious issues with the layout?
  • Anything I should future-proof now while access is easy?
Trying to do it properly first time rather than ending up with a spaghetti nightmare later on 😂

Cheers 👍
