Looking to fit DC DC and Leisure battery under passenger seat. Had a look at existing wiring there plus the wiring diagrams on here and at a bit of a loss, can anyone help me identify this larger wire and splice please? Any idea where larger wire comes from?

Maybe a zoomed out photo will help people see what the wires go to, and therefore what they are.

My guess is that in the picture is "connection B489" found in wiring diagrams - fed from fuse SA3 (100A)

They go back under the floor. Its just a splice which is normally black taped up. Was wondering if it could be suitable for a small dc dc.

Thankyou, which wiring diagram area is it please as they are all split up in the members area?

Your guess makes some sense as looking at fusing charts it shows it feeds electric sliding doors and 4wheel drive, which my van has.

Found the suspect in diagrams: 52-Fuses in engine compartment and 53-Fuses in interior. Unfortunately neither of seems to be in download.
Depending on what equipment your van has the connection can be B324 - but still fed from fuse SA3. And feeding fuse box SH.
