Evening All.
Can anyone in the T6 community help me find a van? I’ve listed my ‘must haves’ in the thread header. I’m not concerned about age or mileage as long as the van has a credible service history and it’s been looked after. It’s a ‘no’ to red and black vans. No roof bars, no deadlocks.
Any thoughts, contacts etc. much appreciated.

I can't help with your search, but what is your reasoning on eliminating a T32?

Because it falls into a different MOT class which has additional checks for commercial vehicles. I also wont be carrying heavy loads to warrant a T32 nor towing. What were your thoughts?

That's fair. I didn't even consider this when I bought my T32...

Come MOT time I will just take it to an appropriate test centre. There's plenty of people run them without any issues.

Personally, knowing what I now know, I don't think it would make me narrow my search.

Good luck with your search, my T6 is the best vehicle I've owned (and I've had 17 in the same number of years 🤣)

I didnt have any issues with my previous van a T32 when it came to MOT's, but prior to a vist to CRS, It was a very harsh ride.

Hello mate…I may be moving on my 22 plate indium grey T32 lwb PV 4mo 204ps dsg, after I’ve paid off the finance towards the end of June.

Atm it’s done around 25k miles, which will rise but not signicntly, and has a full Vw service history and has the ‘all in warranty’ plan running since the manufacturer warranty expired last July. One owner from new, many many factory extras, led lights, diff lock ,heated captains leather/alcantara swivel seats, bulkhead delete, tailgate with glass, upgraded head unit, tow bar etc etc plus £10k plus of upgrades just after it was new, carried out by Bognor Motors in a swamper style. Just been 3yr ceramic coated.
A truly awesome van imho!

Hey Ricardo. Your van does look awesome, thanks for sharing. I'm looking for a standard spec PV so I can personalise it to meet my needs going forward. All the best with the sale

I'm considering selling mine. It's a 2019 T6 as opposed to a T6.1 though. T28 150PS Auto Highline in Black. 36K miles. Converted to day van with Ovano so pretty blank canvas to do what you want with it.

Hi mate, just out of interest what sort of price would you be after?
Cheers.

Don't discount a T32. Had mine nearly 6 years. The MOT is just a couple of extra checks and costs an extra £5. If you convert it to a camper it becomes class 4 anyway so no big issue. Suspension from CRS and you've got a vehicle where you never have to worry about being overloaded.
And I'd never swap from my LWB to a SWB under any circumstances. So much more room.

Thanks @Bigsidavies. Definitely made my mind up to stick with a LWB. How does the suspension from CRS affect the drive of your van? And out of interest which engine do you have? Cheers.

The suspension change made the van much better than it was on standard suspension, even though I had it lowered by about 60mm. Original (tired) suspension was very crashy and noisy and steering was vague. The CRS stuff is much more positive feeling and less crashy. It's much smoother to drive.
It's still firmer than the car as you've taken a big 3 ton lump and reduced the amount of suspension travel available to absorb bumps. But I've done about 50k on the CRS kit with only a couple of spring replacements. The only thing I find is that speed humps are best tackled at about 20mph or less.
I have a 204 biturbo 4 Motion, which I think adds an extra couple of hundred kilos to the transmission.
