Had a few vans last one 73 plate t6.1 kombi dsg 204 loved it but now have the id cargo it ls belting…they won’t suit everyone but for me I love it. Still keeping my caddy tho
When I started on EV (eUp!) we were on a fixed deal at just over 3p /kWh , and the Up does around 5 - 6 m/kWh . Now I’m paying around 8p/kWh. I run heavy-use domestic appliances overnight as well, so getting an EV means my bill has gone down!
If you want a cheap EV van the Kia has some good feedback. If you want the Buzz because of the looks then go for it. If you like worrying about DPF and crankcase oil seals and head gaskets and water pumps and turbos and EGR valves and camshafts and fuel injectors and DMF and clutch plates and timing chains and interrupted regen on short journeys then keep running the T6.1. I’m still running my diesel van until it dies of all the above, and its replacement in many years time will be an EV.
