T6.1 Cargo area LED plugs?

Good morning all.
I have 2 , diagonally opposed LED lamps in my van, I'd like to add more to give more light and balance the look of things.

I have the lights, anyone know where to source the correct plugs?

Please.

Hi Tristan. Which connectors? If it's the same as the step lights I have some in the garage you're welcome to. Can you get a picture of one? These are the ones i have1000009565.webp

I'll have a look at a spare step lights I have in the morning and let you know. Certainly looks similar

If you're adding them to the standard wiring for parked up use remember that they will time out (20 mins as standard, sometimes 1 hour if factory fit LED cargo Transporter)

On a T6 you can alter the time delays with something like VCDS up to about 2 hours; so far I don't think anyone as found where this setting is on a T6.1 (as I'd love to do it)

"Standard" courtesy wiring is three wires: timed out +12v feed, one negative feed to the door switches, one permanent negative feed.

Some cargo wiring only uses 2 of those as there is no "always on" switch on the lights.

Hi Stan the Man,

I note your post above. Do you know if the other side of this electrical connection plug is available. I have a T6.1 and the cargo lights were removed by the converter to add the pop top. They replace the connector inside the B pillar and I want to reuse it and add a small LED strip light above the sliding door. I don’t want to cut the wiring loom if I can find the other side of the connector.

I now have plenty of T6 ones! These are larger than the T6.1.

I’d be grateful if you or anyone else can help.

Thanks!

Should this help anyone... Managed to purchase housing 535972713 (I think I have, will provide update once/if recieved) from LLL Parts. I had to issue my VIN for them to check if it fitted, I was expecting issues at this point! After being interrogated and them kept stating that it doesn't fit a Transporter, I had to enter into a length discussion (via email) why I wanted one for a Transporter because it does fit any thing. So, it seems that there isnt anywhere on a Transporter that uses this type of three pin housing..

Okay, so the chap was foreign (nothing wrong with that, I struggle with English and I am English) this made the following question challenging. "does it come with the pin terminals, or do I have to purchase them separately" I never really got and answer. Gut feeling it doesn't, but if anyone can confirm I'd be greatful. If they are separate, does anyone have the part number for these? I have seen some on Amazon.. Not sure it they fit!

Thanks

Dan

I bought my connectors from VW, and then bought the pins from Amazon. Will try and find a link.
